| Abstrakt: | The article carries anthropological analysis of family keepsakes in Upper Silesia. According to the authors the process of popularisation of the need to protect family traditions as a part of local traditions is widely noticeable. As a result there are more and more family keepsakes in museums. To prevent the exhibition from being just a “burial mound” of the bygone era, they have to undergo a new interpretation, so that they will be able to create a part of Upper Silesian regional identity. |
