dc.description.abstract	The article concerns the life and work of a professor of economy at Jagiellonian University Ferdynand Zweig (1896-1988) who, together with Adam Krzyżanowski and Adam Heydel, shaped the liberal Kraków school. His life and work can be divided into two periods. During the first period, until the outbreak of World War II, Zweig was a professor at Jagiellonian University and his research was focused on economic issues. The second period, after the war, comprises his stay in England and a change in interests. At that time, the scholar devoted himself to sociological studies. This second period in Zweig’s life and work is hardly known in Poland.	pl_PL
