Abstract

The article deals with the issue of the evolution of the position of the United States in the international arena in the period after 1990 to the present day. The author analyses the features of foreign policy and international relations, taking into account the period of presidency of Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. While in the 1990s the United States distanced other countries in international relations, after 2001 the significance of other countries in the international arena increased. However, this does not change the fact that the phenomenon of domination of the United States continues, but in future a bipolar system, in which the People’s Republic of China will play an important role, or a multipolar system may emerge.
