Komunistyczna Partia Czech i Moraw : pomiędzy nostalgicznym apelem przeszłości a próbą przedstawienia wizji przyszłości

Abstract

The article analyses the position of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia on the contemporary political scene of the Czech Republic on the basis of experiences, structure and vision of the group’s future. The party has been present in the Czech Parliament since the founding of the state and enjoys the support of 10% to 20% of the votes of the electorate. Nevertheless, between 1992 and 2017, it was isolated by other political bodies. The reason for this lies in the party’s anti-system profile, as well as in the beginnings of its activity, which grew up on the traditions of the communist regime.
