Abstract

Seniors’ everyday functioning is one of the many images of the present day. This social group often appears as full of knowledge, having a lot of free time, but is it really completely happy? This cheerful image must be complemented by complicated financial situation, health problems and – which often is not clearly visible – loneliness, which is the most difficult experience. Presented text tries to interest the society – younger age groups – with the topic itself and indicates the need for seniors’ life revitalization by their own activity, multi-faceted education, which should also be extended to younger generations in order to form social consciousness in its scope. The practical solutions proposals – activity and education – based on art/film, music, should be understood not only as form of complementing activities undertaken by relevant institutions, but also as a direction in the way of thinking and additional activities.
