dc.description.abstract | Functional imaging of living brain elucidated mechanisms of neural and psychological development resulting in a “storm and stress period” characteristic for the adolescents. These discoveries shed new light upon the problems, which for the centuries engage prominent founder of educational systems and pedagogical methods. However, features of human recognized by evolutionary and behavioral sciences, as Yerkes-Dodson laws, peacock tail principle of Zahavi, trade-off rule, 7±2 law of Miller, the Dunbar’s number and others, presumed better understanding of problems concerning work with teenagers. The factor being most hampering for education and upbringing of youths is a conflict among their natural drives or instincts and pressure of modern commercialized and electronic information based way of a life in big cities. The final result of this collision is similar to behavioral status of the front-page mentioned marten in the hen-house. The understanding of these mechanisms is a prerequisite condition for the perfecting of educational systems. | pl_PL |
