Abstrakt: | The main subject of the presented research was family and school situation of pupils having
a different level of social competences. The aim of the dissertation was to compare family
and school situation of two extreme groups of pupils, which means pupils having high and low
level of social competences (...). The statistic analysis showed that the family factors considerably affecting the connection
between the level of social competences of the pupils and their positive or negative family
situation are: conditions of the pupil to learn; atmosphere at family home, comfort of the pupil
at home, a degree of interests in children by their mothers and the attitude of the parents towards
school and education (the attitude towards the teachers; monitoring the preparation of the pupil
to school; taking care of buying necessary school aids and equipment).
The school factors considerably affecting the connection between the level of social
competences of the pupils and their positive or negative school situation of the pupil are:
the relationship between the pupil and the class, the relationship between the pupil and
the teachers; quality of the relationship the pupils and the teachers, atmosphere at school,
motivation of the pupil to learn, comfort of the pupil at school.
As a result of the conducted research there was proved that: the better the family and school
situation of the pupils was, the higher the level of their social competences was. This
connection, though statistically essential, was the connection of an average importance, which
suggests that there are other, not described in the dissertation, factors affecting the level
of social competences of the pupils. |
