Abstract

The paper present the child participation idea, its roots, theoretical and political foundations and problems of its development in contemporary societies. The special attention is paid to the reality of the implementation of child participation as it is founded in CRC, with presentation of different positive forms but also with explanation the false forms such as manipulation, decoration and tokenism. On this basis Author presents the criteria of the genuine child participation as they are understood by experts of the theme in contemporary literature.
