Tabloidyzacja na peryferiach Doksa i stygmat prowincji

Abstract

The main idea lying behind text formation concerning dimensions of tabloidization on the outskirts was a belief in a different quality and specificity of the local media regarding the norms and rules the media of the so called main trend are subject to. Hence, the topics had to cover both the issues concerning the process of reading what “province” and “periphery” are, and how to include the issues concerning journalist attitudes within the scope of a local communication. The last motive is particularly important when we focus on the role of journalist work when it comes to creating a social capital. This one, though, constitutes to a large extent a social capital. The last part of the text contains opinions of local journalists where they express their remarks concerning the processes intensifying the media affective economy, accentuating the lack of homogeneity, but also conditions of a relative resistance of the local media to tabloidization.
