dc.description.abstract | In the modern penitentiary thought, the times when a penal institution was
just a place of isolation and a building whose architecture testifies that criminals have
been separated from the law abiding society are long gone. Resocialization is a process
which aims to restore persons who break social and legal norms to social environment.
The author emphasizes that resocialization work with inmates and creating perspectives
