| Abstrakt: | Jesus’ action in the temple in Jerusalem is testified by the four Gospels. The earliest Gospel, from the redactional point of view, highlights a contrast between the institutional authorities of the Sanhedrin and the personal authority of Jesus, consisting not only in the expulsion of the merchants from the temple, but also in the teaching referred to the prophetic tradition of the Old Testament. |
