Abstract

The text is basically a presentation of the conception of children’s citizenship in its modern dimension, but also in the light of Janusz Korczak’s pioneering opinions. The author shows basic understanding levels of the idea of children’s social participation as the main and essential dimension of the understanding of their citizenship today. In so doing, she refers to the main instruments constituting the very idea, showing at the same time their political nature. Also, much of the onus goes to considerations looking for conditions of too slow a development and implementation of the conception of children’s participation in social practices. At the same time, she shows benefits of the popularization of the subject conception.
