Abstract

The issue of talents has had its exemplifications in the educational practice, while the individualization of teaching programmes and methods educating talented individuals has found a legal sanction in the assumptions of the systems of an educational policy for many years. One of the fundamental principles of modern educational systems of democratic nations is the right of each person to learn. Considerations on a legislative perspective of the students’ rights to develop their talents and skills can be made from the point of view of the acts of an international and Polish legislation. The publication makes an attempt to analyze the rights of a talented child in the context of existing legal norms.
