Abstract

Imagination is the ability to create in human consciousness something new in relation to previous experience. At the same time the reality of contemporary life, especially the reality created by the media, is not conducive to the development of imagination. One of the forms of stimulation of imagination is artistic creation and contact with art. The text presents some ideas of theatrical creation which involve the audience much more fully and activate their imagination and creative thinking more than traditional theater does. The examples are two theatrical experiments done with the students of Social and Cultural Animation in Cieszyn.
