Blisko, coraz bliżej... : psychologiczne aspekty umierania i śmierci

Abstract

Although, dying and death have accompanied by a man since beginning of his existence, they are still a mystery veiled by mist of ignorance for him. Attitudes toward death, death’s definitions and fascinations and fear connected with dying had been changing for many ages. Instead of them medicalization, tabooisation of death and process of dying have appeared, but it didn’t modify the fact of their being. The widening group of scientists, who represents different scientific disciplines, but works together on dying, death and mourning issues, have met on the interdisciplinary territory called thanatology. This article bases on two dimensions of dying and death: biological one (referring to the soma) and psychological one (relating to the psyche), all because of common agreement on the treating man as a psychosomatic.
