dc.description.abstract | The author asks to what extent the university can be considered as a social laboratory, in which personal
biography of a student as well as community of students and theirs masters are built. The essence of such formation is the process of self-improving of both the scholars (scientists and teachers) and students. She
finds the trust as a crucial value developed in such community. University rituals and educational experiences
recorded in documentary literature illustrates the meaning of the university as a place of biographical
