Abstract

In this paper indicated, that the Silesian voivo-deship has great tourism potential, also for qualified tourim, in ex. equestrian tourism. In fact, this region (especially in it’s central part) is strongly transformed by human activities but it is not the most important for this kind of tourism. Using the valuation methode described by J. WARSZYŃSKA (1970), the valorization of Silesian vivodeship was made for equestrian tourism. The methode was modified by the author. Test results made it possible to analyze spatial diversity attractiveness factor – W(a) and the separation regions of the voivodeship, depending on the particular potential. In most districts it is at least large. In addition, densely localized equestrian centers and other stables provide excellent con-ditions to pave the network of trails on horseback between them and fully exploit the potential.
