dc.description.abstract	The subject of the article is a migration movement of the population in the suburban area of the complex settlement system – Katowice conurbation. The aim of the study is to show the directions and trends in the internal migration of the population of eight selected rural communities. The analysis includes statistical data about migration movement and de-tails about the inflow and outflow of population. The researched rural communities are the subject of the process of sub-urbanization and are located in the zone of influence of large and medium-sized cities.	pl_PL
