Dokumenty muzyczne w Bibliotece Teologicznej Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach

Abstract

Although the Theological Library of the University of Silesia in Katowice specializes in theological literature and related fi elds it also collects musical documents. The collection includes musical manuscripts, 19th and 20th century literature and contemporary works. The musical documents collected in the library are primarily missals, liturgical books, prayer books, sheet music and songbooks, periodicals and book series, handbooks, dissertations and electronic sources. The collection of musical literature is supplemented by archival materials and enlarged by new documents that are constantly used by academics and students of the Faculty of Theology, as they serve to the entire academic community.
