Bronisława Dymara, in the article entitled The development of child musical culture deals
with the interpretation of the notion of culture as such, and the development of learners’ music
dispositions. She underlines sensitivity allowing for discovering the wealth of the word voices and
sense of silence. The next two sequences include educational inspirations. The author motivates
to complex learning and creative absorption of the knowledge about music, musical instruments and music playing. She also writes about the values of Polish songs encouraging the junior high
school students to answer the question why they are the treasury of the national culture. In conclusion,
she underlines universal dimensions of singing, music and music playing.
