Trzy dekady czyli o jednej z bibliotek rusycystycznych w Polsce

Abstract

The article is an attempt to summarize the 30-year long activity of the Library at the Faculty of Eastern Slavonic Studies at the University of Silesia. The history of the library was brought closer, the description of the book collection and its users was given. The attention was drawn to particular phases of development in individual decades between 1976 and 2006. It was pointed out how the library fulfilled its statutory functions and how it became the point of interest and bibliological research. Quoted statistical materials supplement the text.
