Księgozbiór Zygmunta Żuławskiego - rekonesans badawczy

Abstract

The article takes up the initial description of Z. Zulawski’s book collection stored in the University of Silesia Library. Zygmunt Zulawski (1880–1949) was a general secretary of the Labour Union Headquarters, one of the leaders of Polish Socialist Party. In his book collection containing about 1700 vol. (176 antique books) he gathered widely understood canon of Polish literature including all literary periods starting from the Renaissance to the literature of the II World War. A collection of first editions and low-edition pieces of writing constitute the substantial part of the collection.
