Abstract

The mian aim of this article is to present the results of the study on the sociometric conditions of handicapped students in the integrative school, and the role a classmate performs in this school. The article contains an outline of the accepted role category and potential effects of its fulfillment in the context of school functions. The subject-matter constitutes a presentation of the findings concerning the sociometric conditions of a child with a slight mental handicap in the integrative classroom. The interpretation of the results was illustrated in the context of a widely-understood school maladjustment. The conclusive remarks indicate the possible and obligatory practical solutions.
