Abstract

The paper deals with the role of family in obtaining cultural abilities and developing someone’s social personality. Refering to life and creation of the Czapski siblings the author reconstructs an ideal model for the cultural education of person. Personality shaped in course of this process features aware and successful using of cultural goods. Entering the universe of cultural values means permanet inspiration for shaping the personality. The emphasis is put on weightiness of family for cultural and axiological education. This is important to mention that it can not be replaced by any other tie of educational process, i.e. school or cultural institutions. Entering the universe of cultural values is inscribed in the term of socializing meant as adopting of tradition, social standards, and cultural patterns. This is only the family able to lead into the world of values and preparing for taking part in the community.
