Determinanty zjednoczenia Niemiec

Abstract

In this article the author discusses the principal external and internal governing conditions leading up to the reunification of the German state. Amount the most important of these may be accounted: economic and political inefficiency of the so-called real socialism states, the conceptions of a new way of political thinking implemented in Soviet foreign policy from the middle nineteen eighties, the political transformations in Poland, GDR and the remainning states of Central and Easter Europe, the reunification policy upheld by the successive FRG governments and also the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe process. This complex of mutually interlocking factors together witn their cumulation in a short period of time, decided the matter of the reunification of Germany.
