dc.description.abstract	The aim of the article is to present letters sent by prisoners of Nazi concentration camps, prisons and jails during World War II. Among the authors of the letters were: Father Emil Szramek – parish priest of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (St. Mary’s Parish) in Katowice, Father Józef Czempiel – parish priest of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hajduki Wielkie (today Chorzów), Father Jan Macha – vicar from St. Joseph’s Parish in Ruda and Joachim Gürtler – alumn from Ruda. The article discusses the form of the letters and their content, taking into account the conditions in which they were created.	pl_PL
