"Grenzkreisleiter"? Kierownicy powiatowi zabrzańskiej NSDAP w latach 1932-1940

Abstract

The author of the text presents a profile of four province managers of NSDAP in Zabrze (Hindenburg) (Walter Podolski, Max Fillusch, Alfred Jonas and Johannes Schweter) between 1932 and 1940. Outlining their biographies, he shows the role the officials of that ranking played in the structure of Hitler’s party. On the basis of the archive materials, he presents the life path of each of them, showing the secrets of their activity. The author also tries to make a classification of the actions taken by them, and attitudes they presented.
