O dwóch typach pojmowania komunizmu

Abstract

The object of this article is to present the fundamental atttitudes to the conception of the visiion o f communisim pronounced by Polish Maxists after 1956. The author distinguishes two basiic methods for interpreting the vision of communism: maximalist and open. The maximalist interpretation assumes an ahistoric concept, aiming towards concentrating attention on one characteristic of communism considered as central, and its absolute significance. The open interpretation exhibits at least one o f the following chacteristics: retreat from the single-factor approach, presenting evolution o f the vision of communism, giving up the claims of its definitive natmre.
