Abstract: An emphasis on forming a creative attitude of a human being is a response to contemporary world changes. The attitude can be formed by environment influences, especially by the family influence. The article shows the results of the research the purpose of which was to answer the question about family environment characteristic features of people distinguished by creative and imitative attitudes. A diagnostic survey was conducted among humanistic studies students. The results of the survey were to show how the subjects – in their early youth period – describe the family environment, depending on their dominant attitude diagnosed on the basis on the Creative Behaviour Questionnaire KANH by Stanisław Popek.
