| Abstrakt: | The article is a presentation of studies on the history, organization and activity of the Polish Library in Paris. It is given a special place in numerous libraries of Polish diaspora abroad. The author, basing on the so far unknown archive materials from Katowice, presented a big correspondence between the very place and the Library of Sejm Śląski in Katowice. The article reveals the materials pointing to the promotion of Silesia in France by sending books of various topics. A precious supplement to the article is an index of doublets given to the Polish Library in Paris by the Sejm Library in the 1930s. |
