Abstract

Witold Jacórzyński and Marek Wichrowski present an ethical discussion between a Christian situationist (such as Joseph Fletcher) and a "codexualist" who believes in the conclusive power of an established moral code. The debate is focused on justification of acts performed in the context of difficult moral dilemmas. Advocates of both orientations try to find weak points in the opponent's arguments.
