Kultura wizualna : wybrane studia teoretyczne oraz badania empiryczne

Abstract

In the paper there are analyzed different perspectives and interpretations of the notions: culture, visual culture, culture studies, visual studies, postmedia, picture, software, hardware, digital codes, and chosen theories which describe phenomena and processes taking place in the range of the visual culture and contemporary society as well as in education. In the end of the article the chosen results of the empirical research carried out in the framework of the visual culture are described.
