Percepcja obiektów sakralnych Ojcowskiego Parku Narodowego przez miejscową ludność oraz turystów

Abstract

In Polish national park there are cultural values, the presence of which is legally sanctioned. The large group of these objects are the sacred ones. They make the reflection of spiritual life of the community inhabiting this region. The author of this article has decided to investigate the perception of sacred objects by local people and tourists in the smallest Polish national park. The investigations in the form of questionnaire interviews were performed. The objects of cultural value located in the Ojcow National Park are perceived by local people and tourists in different ways. Both groups of respondents notice only these objects which are a kind of the Parks’s characteristic element (showcase). These is however a lack of awareness of the objects of small sacred architecture (wayside shrines and crosses) – the majority of respondents do not notice them at all.
