Profilowanie „Innego” w dyskursie radiomaryjnym

Abstract

The author writes about discourse considering not only its linguistic but also cognitive and interactive aspects. This understanding focuses on the broadly understood social context of discourse including, inter alia, its organizational and cultural aspects. In order to analyse the discourse of Radio Maryja as an ideological one, the author uses cultural linguistics devices such as the linguistic picture of the world, viewpoint, perspective and profiling. Those devices help to describe ‘The Other’ in the studied discourse, the characteristics of ‘The Other’ and the relationship between ‘The Other’ and the community centred around Radio Maryja.
