Abstract

The author deals with a broad issue of media socialisation, which she proves to exist by citing numerous studies on the use of media by children and trying to point out the most important areas of media influence on the youngest generations. She selects and describes the linguistic, social and mental levels. The article is supposed to collect and summarize the most important, in the author’s opinion, findings of researchers concerning the relations between media and children.
