Abstract: This article introduces the reader to the importance of using drama methods in support of the educational process. The theoretical part contains general comments on educational drama and its applications at various levels of education. The practical part contains, among other examples, exemplification of different drama techniques (e.g. improvised scenes with an established intial situation, interviews, freeze frame) to overcome conflicts, aggression and violence among students.The specificity of the article constitutes an approximation of drama as a method of educational-teaching, which appeals to the student’s creative expression, and requires activities such as: role building, preparing improvised scenes, freeze frame, interviewing the scene’s central character.
