Kamień odrzucony? Postsekularyzm jako (nie)możliwa perspektywa interpretacyjna literatury i kultury polskiej

Abstract

Postsecularism, unlike other contemporary theories, does not seem to be a promising strategy of interpreting Polish culture and its application to literature seems controversial. The article author proves, however, that postsecularism can inspire research that will help to establish a new history of certain contemporary cultural phenomena (literature, cinema, visual arts and music). He discusses the following research problems: irreligious usage of religious language in literature, various poetics of profanation and blasphemy, humour in works using a religious language as well as the performative and political aspects of literary theologies during the communist regime.
