Zadania gminy w zakresie opieki nad dziećmi w wieku do lat 3

Abstract

One of the instruments of family policy that enables to create conditions that make it easier for citizens to reconcile their working lives with their family responsibilities is the creation of a childcare system. The regulations providing for the possibility of extending various forms of care to children under 3 years of age - crèche, children’s club, day care centre, nanny – were introduced in Poland in 2011. In the case of the first three solutions, the main part of the tasks related to the organisation and functioning of the care was relegated to the municipality. The subject of the discussion is to review and systematize the tasks of the municipality in the discussed scope and to evaluate the 5-year functioning of solutions supporting the development of the care system for children in nursery age.
