Między filozofią a światopoglądem : myśl społeczna i religijna Józefa M. Bocheńskiego w kontekście sporów ideowych w XX wieku

Abstract

This dissertation presents the results of research on the thought of Father Bochenski in the context of ideological disputes of the twentieth century. The question that was posed at the beginning of the work was: what were the views of this philosopher in specific areas, indicated mainly by the interests of the author of the work, such as: philosophy and world-view with particular emphasis on the analytical philosophy, patriotism and nation, understanding of Poland against a European background, war, including just war and pacifism, democracy and communism, religion, Church and clergy, university, enterprise, law, justice and law-governance. The dissertation reconstructs religious thought and evaluates it by highlighting the merits and weaknesses. The main conclusion of the work is as follows: Fr. Bochenski’s thought in most of the indicated areas is still current and can be inspirational.
