Abstrakt: Today’s education market is undergoing dynamic changes. The communication of knowledge and approaches to teaching are getting more and more digitalized, and thus interactive. Along with these changes comes a new image of a student who has become a “knowledge consumer,” and being aware of the changes, the student demands an easy access to a wider range of material; and what is more, he/she demands that it is offered in a both attractive and effective way. Sometimes it may prove difficult to follow these changes, especially to those who are involved in propagating knowledge, that is academic teachers. Getting themselves familiar with new methods and approaches to teaching is one of the key factors that influence the innovative character of education. The article presents the latest approaches to teaching from the perspective of a “knowledge consumer.” It aims to meet the demands posed by teachers by discussing approaches already implemented on the stage of academic didactic processes, as well as those developed by commercial training and educational services. Therefore, the article focuses on an integrated learning, SIS, a library of educational methods and tools, as well as methods of organizing forms of gaining job experience for students. All methods are compiled in a form a synthetic library that a reader may refer to with regards to didactic objectives which he/she wants to accomplish. The article is thus presented as a manual and shows ways of improving didactic courses run in academia.
