Ksiądz Józef Tischner - propozycja nie tylko dla katechetów

Abstract

The text consists of three parts. The first one is devoted to the reading experience of young Jozef Tischner, his fascination with literature, and the consequences that resulted from this in his adulthood. The second part presents the author of Życie według wartości (Life according to values) as a priest who implements a new model of the Holy Mass for children. The well-thought-out incorporation of the youngest in the essence of the Eucharist, teaching them how to consciously participate in the mass mystery, the ability to conduct a dialogue — these testify further to his capabilities as a theologian and philosopher. The third part shows Tischner introducing the young reader to the highland landscape and folklore. The whole book concerns the least known form of creative activity of the author of Filozofia po góralsku (The Highlander’s History of Philosophy) related to the youngest addressee.
