Sploty tradycji : dwugłosy o literaturze polskiej XX wieku

Abstract

The book consists of five “dialogues” devoted to selected aspects of works by Władysław Broniewski, Władysław Sebyła, Miron Białoszewski, Zbigniew Herbert and Jacek Podsiadło. The title “entanglements” connect particular “voices” within multithematic dialogues with literary and cultural heritage. Once, the basis of this “entanglement” turns out to be some ideological or theological nuance, some other time, a romantic context, melancholic sense of enstrangement, mournful despair or oikological meditation. The whole volume has been preceded by an introduction, in which the meaning of a seemingly forgotten theoretical concept — tradition — has been given much consideration.
