Kauzacja w klasycznym języku hebrajskim : morfologia, semantyka i problemy terminologiczne

Abstract

The article endeavours to systematize the multitude of meanings in the so-called causative forms (Hif il) in Biblical Hebrew. It analyses semantic relations between two morphological forms – basic and causative – in terms of modality criteria and absence of an additional agent. Along this way of classification, we separated two types, the former of which contains two subtypes (aequativum, factivum) whereas the lattter contains five subtypes (informativum, permissivum, evocativum, incitativum, directivum).
