dc.description.abstract | This Ph.D. thesis is an analysis of molecular dynamics of protic ionic liquid, lidocaine hydrochloride, in supercooled and glassy states. The comparison of conductivity and structural relaxation times, obtained from broadband dielectric spectroscopy and stochastic temperature-modulated differential scanning calorimetry, respectively, revealed a decoupling phenomenon between mass and charge transport. In order to explain this peculiar behavior, the isothermal studies under high pressure were performed. The appearance of decoupling at shorter conductivity relaxation times with increasing pressure showed that compression in one of the factors which control the size of the decoupling between and . Moreover, it was found that in hydrated sample the decoupling is intensified under compression, due to enhanced proton transfer. The validity of the idea of thermodynamic scaling was also confirmed by using dylatometric studies. | pl_PL |
