Językowe manifestacje dyskursu terapeutycznego (na wybranych przykładach)

Abstract

The author of the article has provided a preliminary characteristics of therapeutic discourse seen as a kind of communicative practice that appropriates different social domains (as shown in the selected examples) and that occupies a specific position in contemporary culture. In the first part of the article, the author has introduced essential terminological distinctions (cf. e.g. the terms therapeutic discourse and therapeutic communication) and has presented the most important features of the discourse under inspection. In the second part of the text, the author has scrutinized the external conditioning of the therapy‑related speech activity and its determinants, such as genological, cognitive, axiological, and pragmatic criteria.
