The article undertakes the theme of artistic didactics in context of contemporary culture and
first of all in context of alterations and experiments that are reorganising the territory of the art.
It presents few concepts and attitudes dominating in cogitation on the art, furthermore it confronts
them with the reality of the postmodern art. Within theese relations the force and the
meaning of an interpretation, as a basic manner of art work’s existence in the social and cultural
space, are represented. As a result, presence of the interpretation in the structure of an art work
creates an interesting perspective for education and artistic didactics.
