Abstract

The article is an attempt at systemizing the speech and language therapy prevention with a particular attention given to the educational context. A three-level division of speech and language therapy prevention is proposed, i.e.: primary, secondary and tertiary, emphasising the significance of each type of preventive action in the system of effective speech therapy care. The author emphasized the role of exploiting the potential held by the educational environment and emphasises the importance of enhancing the cooperation between speech therapists and pedagogues in implementing speech and language therapy prevention on each of its levels
