Abstract

The issue of dealing with prenatal and perinatal losses is multi-threaded and multifaceted, and all the threads and aspects affect each other. Technological advances unleashes new capabilities to watch a man from the very beginning, biopsychosocial reality of pregnancy, new legislation regarding the treatment of low pregnancies, the new position of the Church on the fate of children who died without baptism, social attitudes towards prematurely dead children and their parents, the threads that are discussed in this article. Article justify why coping with the loss of prenatal and perinatal may be a specific challenge of our time.
