Abstract: The results of investigations from 2002 to 2006 were discussed and compared with historical data. They refer to five syntaxa, which were found on the area of 14 lime excavations of the Cieszyn Foothills, and dominated by invasive or expansive species. Two of them – Calamagrostietum epigeji Juraszek 1928 and Robinia pseudoacatia com-munity, found by BUŁAWA (1976) are more stabilised in comparison to Rubetum idaei Malinowski et Dziubałtowski 1914 em. Oberd. 1973, Impatientetum parviflorae Brzeg 1989 ex Borysiak 1994 and Polygonetum cuspidati (Moor 1958) Th. Müller et Görs 1969 ex Görs 1974. However they still reveal heterogeneous floristical composition. Dynamics and direction of further succession of all communities were defined. Few in this macroregion vicarious stands of rare and under law pro-tection taxa were discussed as well.
