Abstract

"Ustroń" S.A. Health Resort uses mineral waters taken from Middle and Upper Devonian limestones and dolomites for curative purposes. Two boreholes – U-3 and U3-A drilled in the early 1970s are exploited. The aim of this study is to estimate changes of mineral water quality based on chloride content in the water from the U-3A borehole. The data set include the results of monthly analyses of chlorides from ten years (2005-2015). Four different models of the triple exponential smoothing (ETS) were used for the calculations. The best results were obta-ined with ANN model.
